Marathia
The area of Marathia lies in the southwestern part of the island, about 25 kilometers away from the airport. There is no special town or village center but merely this fantastically beautiful expanse of an olive grove between Limni Keriou and the village of Keri. Pure nature. No stores, no bars, no noise. An area interesting both to the seaside fanatic as to the hiker. Marathia sports a beautiful beach with white pebble stones, two typically Greek taverns and one road. The ideal spot for a quiet and relaxing vacation. Shopping possibilities are in near-by Limni Keriou, only 4 kilometers away. Sport diving courses and other sport activities are also offered at Limni Keriou.
